In January 2018 had the amazing opportunity of traveling to THE GAMBIA with a group of fellow artists, dancers and musicians to attend and take part in Kartong carnival. We produced a withy puppet of African Orixa -‘Oshun’ And with children in the community made lanterns and paraded down the street for the first night of kartong festival. It was amazing experience, definitely learned a lot about how instant our expectation in our society. Living on Gambian time was definitely a different pace.
